Northern Oklahoma Youth Services (NOYS) has been in continuous operation in Kay County since 1972. Over this forty year period we have operated an emergency youth shelter and dozens of preventive programs designed to support families and children by decreasing the occurrence of child abuse and neglect, family violence, teen pregnancy and juvenile delinquency.
NOYS' primary service area is Kay, Noble, and Pawnee Counties, with the primary facility and youth shelter located in Ponca City, Ok. Services are provided free of charge to our clients. Local funding is used to match and enhance State grants and contracts that supply major funding for our programs.
I have a BA from University of Central Oklahoma. I've worked at NOYS since November 1998 so almost 20 years. I have held the following positions: child care worker, financial assistant, WIA youth coordinator and as the financial officer for the past 5 years. I have 2 daughters, a dog and a cat.
